Right now as we sit in a Spanish hotel with Wi-Fi recovering from an army of ant bites and one of the hottest heatwaves I’ve certainly ever had to endure, we have our first contemplation about if we are able to continue. We both want to travel but the limitations of our bodies and medications show us that parts of this trip will be incredibly difficult.
Maintaining a constant temperature for Kelly’s insulin has to always be priority 1. Without this she is in hospital within days and far worse if we can’t do that. Are the risks worth the rewards and our we doing the right thing in the long run?
