Up early although Kelly’s blood glucose still hasn’t stabilised yet,
Another night with little sleep has made our time hard to enjoy & filled with threat,
After breakfast we warmed in the sun & started looking at our steeds,
Maloo has some loose bolts from shaking plus problematic electric leads,
For Queenie it was a chance to find her starting issue at last,
But after much searching & a few loose wires still no joyful solution passed,
Ninety nine percent the problem is my battery has gone bad,
Bump started her for twenty mile ride but still flat after is just too sad,
No weekend parties or merriment now on Monday it’s quiet in the streets,
We just had food then to bed for plenty of sleep between the sheets.
