The morning brought thick fog covering our view,
Making everything damp because of all the dew,
A day off the bikes to catch up on writing,
The wind picked up & the sight was inviting,
Mountains surrounding us on all sides,
Towering above the town with fog moving like the tides,
Off into the town we headed for lunch & some shopping,
The town is peaceful & friendly so another night we decided stopping,
Back at the apartment we made gnocchi & relaxed in the living room,
While washing clothes & watching thunder light up the evening gloom.
