Rain Through The Night

Rain though the night spoils my sleep,
But morning returns the sun and unfortunately a heap,
Dirty clothes need washing so we paid for the machine,
Tried avoiding hand scrubbing although we’d overseen,
Two more pieces needed doing right away,
Before heading to town for the day,
Some shopping and a nice walk was a change from riding,
Tonight is expected thunderstorms hot and cold fronts both colliding.
