Strange Noises

Strange noises in the night gave Kelly a fright,
Thought we might end up with something attempting a bite,
Woke to find all well so started in a good mood,
Except an army of ants had all gone all for the food,
A long day in the saddle to reach camp soon,
Wanted a mechanic, hope we dont get maroon,
Can’t fit us in till Monday so we have a weekend here,
In the walled city with excellent food plus nice atmosphere.
