Surf & Storms

Surf and storms arrive at camp,
We decided to wait to avoid becoming damp,
Surfing is not our thing but a beach picnic? YAY,
Overlooking the waves while keeping sand at bay,
The evening comes as does the thunder,
Then the rain begins and we begin to wonder,
Will the tent stay watertight or will we swim,
The morning brings more water but outside not in.
