Portugal Arrives

Crossing the border to Portugal took a while,
When we crossed it became obvious the land is fertile,
Crops and farming everywhere but the main crop is vine,
Wine is everywhere in the north when not that it’s pine,
Such a shame the amount of damage done by wildfires,
Then twisty roads make us consider the life of tyres,
Struggle to find suitable places to get some sleep,
Although the hospitality of the locals is something to keep.
