Up before the crack of ten & ordered a taxi to collect,
Off to airport cargo collection not sure what to expect,
Lots of paperwork plus many security checks,
Lots of waiting plus a bit more waiting what else do you expect,
After hours that felt like weeks we were finally clear to leave,
But for some reason Kelly’s bike was drained of fuel so we had to heave,
Pushed out the complex but security weren’t happy,
Too much luggage but that was sorted before they got snappy,
Had to pay a bit more due to the extra weekend wait,
Onto the road we went but first fuel needed we headed straight,
Finally all filled & ready for the road we thought we were,
But issues from the transport are coming for us although that first ride went in a blur.
