Up nice & early at nearly eleven o’clock,
Wanted to get out early but that didn’t happen oh cock,
The hope was to take a morning boat out to a local historical site,
Before the crowds got too much, no way of that but it’s alright,
We had a backup plan as we headed across the city,
We took a tour around a museum of antiquities pretty,
Several hours blew past as we strolled around the building,
Seeing many pictures, sculptures, history & lots of gilding,
Leaving the building it was now getting dark so we decided to move quickly,
Mosquitoes are out & we decided we didn’t want to get sickly,
A small snack back at the book café before heading off to our room,
A lot of paperwork needed for the week ahead so we wrote in the dark hotel gloom.
