Walking through the streets of Jaipur was an interesting morning,
We got out reasonably early hoping the temperature wasn’t soaring,
Off to see some sights on foot gave us a chance to feel the city heart,
Viewing a lake, park & temple before lunch was definitely a good start,
Then we chose to visit a museum where it all went a bit downhill,
Not allowed to use my camera even though a thousand phones all around,
Made me annoyed at the stupid rules but tbh the place was a let down so I just frowned,
Back to the hotel late after the long day spent walking on foot,
Dinner on the rooftop restaurant was lovely before we retired to get our eyes shut.
