Unexpected Stop

Once again I spent the night waking several times,
When the morning came I was tired & the ships tannoy chimes,
I couldn’t make out what was said as I was having a shower,
But Kelly informed me the ship was heading to port under much power,
For a moment I thought we’d arrived very early but I was very wrong,
I don’t know why but another stop was made just as waves got strong,
When we finally departed waves smashed the side of the ship,
For several hours it continued making many people physically sick,
Eventually we turned & headed with the wind & picked up speed,
Then an announcement we’d be arriving early while in the cafe having our feed,
So our final night onboard “Excellent” is now,
Then to Italy we go east avoiding rain if we know how.
