Rain, Rain, Wind & Rain

Extremely early rise as the ship made her finally port today,
Although a bit rushed we made it to the bikes before others got away,
Three hours early we disembarked from “Excellent”,
Only to discover the weather outside was turbulent,
For the whole day’s ride the rain was biblical,
Coupled with the strong winds made riding very physical,
For several hours we rode through rough twisty passes,
With leaves & rain on the road, plus water running down our asses,
Eventually we found a nice place to stay,
Not before Kelly’s bike decided she needed to lay,
Dropped on an awkward corner only minutes from the venue,
But after arriving a few minutes later, dried off, we got to check out the menu.
