Morning sun cut through the blinds & hit my eyes brightly,
I had to get up just as the toilet called for something unsightly,
Coffee & biscuits to begin the day,
Before our host came over to say hey,
Out for a walk into the town to check out the new surroundings,
There’s always something different when crossing a border for adjustings,
Every street seems filled with betting & casinos sometimes three in a row,
A strange business model but it seems to work, how we’ll never really know,
Time for food & we had a fantastic meal at the “Konoba Jelen” restaurant,
We were made to feel very welcome & the food was beyond excellent,
I’m definitely going to make a write up of our experience here,
Bojan & the rest of the staff were delights & service was premier,
Heading back to our accommodation we saw many interesting sights,
Old buildings with murals run down shacks & many more gambling bright lights,
Back to relax for the evening & write,
Making sense of it all before we take flight.
