Carnet Carnage.

A late start today as we desperately needed a lie in,
We have lots to do in Athens but today is tyres for the DR & Twin,
Finally received the email with my bill for Queenie’s Carnet,
But since my quote the price had increased making me sway,
Eight thousand pounds is more than I can afford,
So the cheaper option I’ve had so I can continue riding abroad,
A lot of organising is required for the next part of our trip,
Ferries, flights & paperwork all needs to be done before we ship,
Out into the city we headed looking for many things,
The bikes need a service & Kelly’s boots have wet insidings,
Evening came & time to get our new tyres fitted,
Back to Andreas & rubber replaced white we waited,
Much praise for this shop we left happy & ready for the winter,
Back to our accommodation to cook a Greek dish for our dinner.
